The Duke Luxury Rooms

Petra was helpful and kept in touch throughout our stay. We had a great visit at Duke Luxury Rooms. The air conditioning worked well, and it was handy to have a mini fridge. Although it’s a little outside the old town, we could walk to everything nearby, including plenty of shops for food and drinks. Would recommend!

For the price, I’d recommend booking a hotel instead. This property costs more than other 4-star hotels, but doesn’t cover basic needs: no bottled water, bin in the main room or tissues, and the sheets weren’t changed daily during my 5-day stay. It’s a villa with a studio apartment and no kitchen, managed by Ms. Petra and one cleaner. This isn’t a hotel and it doesn’t feel remotely luxurious. Both Petra and the cleaner were helpful when I asked for things, but the service you get depends on what the cleaner decides to do.

The room is gorgeous, and the terrace is great. Parking was available for 15 euros, which was really helpful. It’s close to the action but a little outside it, so there’s no noise. Petra, the host, communicated really well. I’d definitely come back.

Check-in was easy and secure, and the rooms were clean, cosy, and just right. The location is good, too. But for the same price, you can get a proper hotel with free parking, breakfast, and a pool, none of which are available here.
