The room was the worst part. Outside noise came straight in, the beds were terrible, and there were things under the sofa bed that looked like they'd been there for weeks. Light kept flicking on and off from the glass hallway doors, so sleeping was impossible. The furniture was ugly and dirty too. There was no staff around at all, the entrance was extremely cramped, and the second floor's so-called sitting area was horribly designed. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. I won't return, and I'd tell others to stay somewhere else.

I booked through booking.com but couldn't check in. The door was locked, and nobody answered when I called. I had to find another place in Split at the last minute, which cost me money and caused a lot of stress. A very bad experience. I don't recommend it.

The room was part of the original fort, and it was spotless and spacious. Being close to everything made it really convenient. The staff were helpful and did their jobs very well. Thank you.

The owners were so nice and helpful, and I loved the decor. The location is fantastic. I'd really recommend it if you're looking to stay in the old center.
