I was unhappy and disappointed with the hospitality. The room smelled really bad when we arrived, and the toilet and bathroom were dirty, with mold and flying bugs both on arrival and during our stay. The pillows were unclean, and hot water didn’t work for two of the three showers I took there. There was no basic shampoo or soap. The host came into our room when we weren’t there and turned off the AC. He also took our clothes from outside and put them in his fridge without asking or saying anything. When I asked, he went into our room unattended and placed them on our bed without permission. Communication was poor, and he was quite aggressive and inappropriate over text messages. I took photos of it all, as shown below.

It was very kind of the manager to let us leave our luggage in the room from 10am until check-in, and then again from 10am checkout until 2pm the next day. We’d come back here.

The room was nice and had a fridge, and the bathroom was immaculate. There was a good view for people watching, and the manager was responsive.

Right in the center of Split, this place has clean, spacious rooms. The owner was kind, and I appreciated how flexible they were, especially with check-in. I’ll recommend it to all my friends.

The hosts were lovely, super friendly, and helpful, and I’ll definitely stay again when we visit. The apartment was on the top floor in a fabulous spot, less than a minute from the Riva and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars, yet very peaceful at night. It was spotless, with a good-sized room for two, a very comfortable bed and pillows, and a roomy bathroom with a shower. Thanks to you both for a lovely stay.
