The sea view over the marina was one of the best parts of our stay, and the location made it easy to get to the old town in just a few minutes on foot. There’s a small supermarket next door, too. Top Rooms was spotless, modern and welcoming, with a comfortable double bed, good air conditioning, a Smart TV, lots of wardrobe space, a fridge, and tea and coffee. The jacuzzi was a nice extra, although the hot water started turning cold after about 10 minutes, so filling it took some patience. Late arrival was no problem. We got access codes instead of key cards, which worked well since reception isn’t staffed around the clock. The owner was lovely and helpful, and can be contacted when needed. She usually comes by to clean the rooms around 10am. Just be ready for the stairs: the apartment is right at the top of the building, with quite a climb. We had a brilliant stay and would recommend it to people visiting the area.

The room was comfortable, and the seafront setting made it easy to walk everywhere while still being in a quiet neighbourhood. The old town is close by. Just keep in mind that the ceilings are low and there are five flights of stairs. Neither bothered us, but the stairs may be a lot for some people, so it’s best suited to those in average shape and under six feet tall. We really enjoyed breakfast at Maduro Cafe across the road. The food was tasty, and the terrace had lovely views and was great for people watching. The host was also excellent to deal with, mostly over WhatsApp, and sorted out all our questions. I’d highly recommend it.

Our room was small but beautifully done, with contemporary decor, a great shower and a very comfortable bed. The host was incredibly helpful, and the old town is only about a five-minute walk along the waterfront. Be aware that the rooms are at the top of the building, up five flights of stairs with no lift, so pack light, especially if you have mobility or health issues. There’s free street parking on the back streets, but we had a hire car and luggage in it, so we chose the underground garage about two minutes away for €25 a day. We couldn’t find the beach that was supposed to be within walking distance. The nearest place we found was a beach and sports club with sunbeds and a ladder into the sea. It felt very local. We may not have walked far enough, but after 15 minutes in the heat we gave up. Still, it’s a great little spot.

The room was lovely and the view was perfect. It’s on the fourth floor, so you’ll need to use the stairs. The only parking we found was in a paid garage about 20 metres away. Breakfast is available at two bistros: one opens at 8:30 or a little later, while the other doesn’t open until 10. The Google Maps marker is about 100 metres off. When you’re facing the sea, go to the right.

The view over the Harbour of Split was stunning, and breakfast was included. Toma was always helpful whenever we needed anything. The owner was nice, and the rooms were really clean and tidy. Ours had a whirlpool in the room. Highly recommend.
