The owner was brilliant and carried our cases upstairs. The place was clean and the AC worked. We only stayed one night, though, and found it a bit far from things, about 35 minutes from the beach and 25 minutes from the bus station.

The room was clean and the air con stayed quiet. The host was really helpful too. There's a supermarket across the way, a cocktail and coffee bar on the corner, and an excellent kava2 coffee bar about 200 m away. The old town is just 5 m from here. Recommended.

They cancelled our reservation for the exact Ultra Music Festival dates just 10 days before arrival, even though we'd had it booked for two months. The reason they gave was a “temporary hotel closure.” When I'm there, I'll stop by and see whether they're actually closed or cancelled us so they could rent the room privately for much more. Not impressed at all.

We booked through Expedia in February 2019 for Ultra Europe weekend. Only after I got in touch recently to check the booking did they reply that they'd be closed that weekend. If you've booked with them, make sure the reservation is secure. I suspect they cancelled to get more money by renting the room out, and I had to chase them for the information instead of being notified. Very disappointing, and not a good way to do business. Expedia was great and helped us find somewhere else.

Really good value and lovely, friendly hosts. The accommodation was clean too. It's just outside the hustle and bustle, but still an easy, nice 10-minute walk to the historic center and la Riva.
