Paula is the heart of the accommodation. She knows the city inside out and gave me excellent suggestions for places to visit and restaurants. My room was clean, and the location was great, close to the lively promenade. The apartment sits in the pedestrian zone, with car parking about 200 meters away. I really enjoyed my stay.

The location is ideal for a visit to Split, and the service was nice. But for over €200 a night, I expected a better room. It felt old-fashioned and wasn't especially clean, the AC had a musty smell, and we could hear the neighbors quite a bit.

The old town and lovely waterfront are only a two-minute walk away, with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. The owner Pero and Andrea at reception were superb hosts, and I loved the map. We were greeted by a friendly, helpful host, had a bright, airy, spacious room, and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. I'd stay again.

The red room on the top floor was beautiful and carefully laid out, with lots of bathroom storage and places to hang towels. I also appreciated that the summer bedding wasn't a heavy duvet, and the AC worked really well. Villa Baguc is close to the main square but far enough away to stay quiet at night. Pero went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable, sharing sightseeing tips and a hand-marked map of his recommended restaurants. I had a great stay.

The room was just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town's main sights, which was ideal. Pero helped us park when we arrived, went over a city map with us, and even made dinner reservations for us at Bocamorra that evening. Breakfast was great, and Paula was very sweet. We had an excellent stay at Vila Baguc.
