Villa Domina

The host was super friendly, and the apartment had everything we needed. It’s a short walk to the old town and the water. The only downside was noise from the unit above until 4 a.m. These two units are owned by the same people, so they need better soundproofing between floors.

The flat was in a handy spot, and the host was accommodating. Still, at 100€ a night in low season, it should be properly cleaned. It was dusty and dirty. Check the pictures. The Wi-Fi and 5G barely worked, and our window looked straight onto a café terrace just 5 meters away. We weren't given bottled water, only told we could drink the tap water. I’d look elsewhere in Split next time, since you can find better places for less.

Duje was lovely and easy to reach, with useful tips for getting around, and payment in cash was no trouble with plenty of ATMs nearby. The flat had everything we needed, from a washing machine and AC in both bedrooms and the living room to a kitchen stocked with basics and coffee pods. We stayed in the top-floor apartment, which has room for two couples and has been renovated with lovely wood floors, exposed beams, a modern kitchen, and fun touches like fairy lights in the glass stairs. It made great use of the space. Just bear in mind this is a historic house with quite a few stairs and no lift. Getting there was easy on bus 37 from Split airport, then a short walk. Restaurants are close, the town is an easy stroll away, and there are nice cafés around the corner. We loved it!

We had a great stay at Villa Domina. The apartment was tidy and had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. The owner was a wonderful host, always there when needed and happy to share what he knows about the area.
