I usually don’t write reviews, but my daughter and I had such a pleasant stay that I wanted to share it. The owners, who live just a few doors away, were incredibly friendly. The apartment was spotless, and we found some of Split’s best restaurants right on its street, even though the centre is only about a five-minute walk away. The owner, a delightful gentleman, picked us up from the airport for an extra fee, less than a taxi would have cost. His daughter met us at the apartment, showed us around, and suggested places to eat and drink. I loved our visit to split, and I’ll stay at villa Pro Patria next time too.

For 29euros a night, this place was an absolute bargain. It has a fully fitted kitchen with a big table and sofa, a king size double bed, towels, TV, air conditioning, its own shower and toilet, toiletries, and wi/fi. There’s a shop, bakery, several restaurants and a laundrette within 100metres. The owners were friendly, and he even dragged my suitcase for me.

They were so helpful and friendly when I checked in very late. I only stayed one night, but this would be perfect for a longer stay in Split because it’s so central, about 3 mins from the water and palace. Thank you!

This is a room, not an apartment. Guests have separate rooms but share the common areas, including the bathroom. Don’t leave anything in the kitchen cupboards, as other people eat it. The accommodation is advertised misleadingly, and even if you explain the issue, the message doesn’t seem to get through. I’d avoid this place.

The owners were very kind, and the place is close to the old town. My room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was outside the room, down a shared corridor, which wasn’t very convenient.
