The place was nice, clean, and friendly, but I was really disappointed to discover that the older woman took a lot of money from me while pushing rakia.

There’s a shop and bakery just around the corner, and the beach is a 5-10 minute walk away. We stayed in a lovely apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a balcony. The garden was beautiful too. If you’re flying in, I’d suggest Zadar, with an inexpensive Uber as one option.

The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had a new flat screen TV with lots of German channels. There’s a bakery and small supermarket nearby, and parking in the courtyard. The landlords were lovely, but sharing the balcony with the apartment next door really bothered me. The mattresses were so uncomfortable that we bought a topper after the first night to get through our 10 days. Next time I’ll bring one along and travel with a big enough group to take both apartments 😉
