Just an 8-minute walk from the port, the location worked perfectly for us. The apartment was extremely clean and had all the facilities we needed throughout our stay. Our host was kind and friendly and made sure everything went well.

This left me with a truly awful holiday experience. I felt treated with very little trust or respect, as though the focus was only on the money and deposit. I’m sharing what happened so others know what they might be facing. Before the trip and at check-in, I dealt with sub-letters who I found incorrect and unprofessional. They asked for a 200-euro deposit for one night without a receipt, and, as I saw it, hid that information until after I booked. Then they cancelled my prepaid reservation for no reason, simply because they were told the truth. I’ve never encountered such an impudent request from a landlord anywhere in Croatia. It took a whole day to get them to correct the information on Booking so customers could see what they were getting into. To me, they seemed like rip-off artists who had lost their heart and soul after years of doing business with tourists. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. 😞😕

The climb back to the room was the one drawback after a full day out. The building sits quite high above sea level, so we sometimes arrived back sweaty. Renting a scooter or even a bike should make that easier, and the view from up there is astonishing, especially at sunset, with Supetar, the sea and the Croatian mainland in sight. I stayed for 7 nights with my girlfriend, and we both had a wonderful time. The room and bathroom were very clean, and Brankica was lovely and helped whenever we needed anything. She even lent us a plastic container for taking our lunch along. Five stars from me, absolutely recommended.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and the balcony and windows have lovely views. There’s a kitchen area where you can meet other people, and I really appreciated that the place is eco friendly. A very beautiful spot to stay! 🌍
