We paid 30% more by extending our stay directly for two nights than we would have through Booking.com. Bad weather and the cancelled catamaran left us with three kids and not much choice. The reservation managers' communication was basic, with generic replies, little knowledge of the island, and advice to book there if it was cheaper. The guest book is a useful source of information. The house itself felt overpriced and very basic. There was no wine glasses, no sofa, and no drinking water to start with, despite being told there would be some. The two beds pushed together aren't a double. On the first floor, the twin beds and bathroom are all in one space, with no privacy. Upstairs there are four beds, including another twin, and that room can be shut off with a door. The kitchen and dining area are on the ground floor. It’s a three-floor house in the Upper village. Getting there takes about 15 minutes on foot from the port, and the beach is around 10 minutes away. The walk up from either place is steep, so keep that in mind. The garden with a barbecue is some 20-30 meter from the house, which felt awkward with kids and didn’t really feel like a house garden. It’s managed by a company with three or four other properties, I think 612 and 550 are among them. You pick up the key at restaurant Barabara, which is the best option on Susak. I’d come back to the island, but stay in another house. And again, two beds together are not a double.
