Vila Punta

The place was clean and right by the sea, but the service was appalling, the rooms poor, and breakfast was the same every day. We also had an argument about the price. We hadn’t mentioned our 1 year old when booking, and when we arrived, they said we’d have to pay 40 Euros more per day with a baby, even though the infant slept with us. We had to agree, but on the last day they tried to raise the price again. We ended up paying what we’d agreed, and the guy threw us out as soon as we paid. First he told us to move the car because many new guests were coming and parking would be packed. A few hours later the parking was still empty. Then the owner threw me out of his hobby, saying I was the kind of client he didn’t want to see. We definitely don’t want to see him either!

We booked one night through Booking, and Mário was an amazing owner. The accommodation was incredibly nice and clean, close to the beach. We had dinner and a few drinks, and the price was a pleasant surprise, not expensive. Breakfast was served beautifully on the terrace, and the pool was a bonus. I definitely recommend it. Mário, you’re doing great, thank you.

This family hotel has a lot of what you’d hope for as a tourist, with the Jadranska magistrala on one side and the sea nearby. The garden and terrace are lovely, and there’s a pool with deckchairs. There’s shaded private parking right by the entrance, and the rooms are very spacious, with comfortable beds, a bathroom with a massage shower cabin, and a high level of cleanliness. The staff are friendly and professional, and breakfast has a wide, generous selection. We highly recommend it.

My "Single Room with Sea View" was on the ground level, and it was huge. The bathroom was really big too, with a shower about the size of most bathrooms. Everything was in good condition and worked perfectly, and the staff were friendly and always available. Breakfast was fit for a king. There were several omelettes to choose from, plenty of cheese, ham, marmelade and more, and excellent coffee. The view of the beach and sea while eating was dreamlike. I also had dinner there, and it was awesome. The vegetables were fresh and full of flavour, and the fish was possibly some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Prices seemed very low compared with what I was used to in Germany and other European countries. I’d gladly have stayed longer at Vila Punta, and I’ll keep it in mind for future travels.
