We were very happy here. It's a good value spot for anyone who doesn't need modern luxury, as long as clean, tidy basics and sun-scented bedding are enough. The house has two floors and a garden, tucked between two larger houses. The lovely, friendly hosts live downstairs, while the two apartments upstairs are reached by an outdoor staircase from the garden. Our apartment had a long corridor connecting all the rooms. At one end was a new kitchen with dishes, a fridge, electric kettle, hob and oven. No microwave, but we don't use one at home anyway. Next to the kitchen was a small living room with a TV, couch and air conditioning. The terrace and bedroom were at the other end. The bed looked new and was sturdy, with no creaking whenever you turned over. The mattresses were firmer, which suited our backs, with no sagging, and we slept really well. There's no air conditioning in the bedroom, just a standing fan, and you can get to the bathroom from the bedroom. When the weather got colder, Mrs. Boženka came by to ask whether we needed extra blankets. She really cares about her guests and tries to make sure they have what they need. From the terrace you can see the mountains. There's parking in front of the house, where you can keep an eye on your car, plus another table and chairs outside the apartment entrance. The grocery store and bakery are a minute away on foot. Bread, pastries and sweets are usually still available well into the afternoon, after 4 pm. The port, with restaurants and other shops, is a pleasant walk away. Pebble beaches with a drink bar, ice cream and a toilet are about five minutes from the house, and there are rocky beaches too. A short distance behind the house, the coastal walking path begins. It's well worth taking, with lovely views of the sea and mainland.

The owners are kind and keep to themselves. The apartment was very comfortable, equipped with everything we could need, and exceptionally clean.

For a great price, this clean, well-equipped apartment is close to the sea in a lovely, intimate town. I highly recommend it for a 2024 holiday.
