Heritage Hotel Kaštelet

Hava at reception deserves special mention. She was warm, kind, and always ready to help, with a smile and positive energy that made us feel welcome right away. She handled our requests easily and clearly wanted to make our stay a good one. People like her make a hotel special. The whole place feels modern and elegant while still being comfortable and homey, with thoughtful design throughout. It’s just 10 meters from a beautiful beach, so you can wake to the sound of the waves. Breakfast by the sea was perfect, with lots of variety and quality ingredients. Service throughout was excellent, professional, discreet, and friendly. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it for a lovely seaside break with an unforgettable stay.

This was the worst restaurant I've ever been to. The food was disgusting, especially the mashed potatoes, which were a horrible goop. The server, Dijana, seemed untrained. She brought the appetizer and bread without individual plates, and we had to ask for them. One person's meal arrived only after the rest of us had finished because she hadn't written it down and then brought the wrong dish. She also tilted my plate, dipped her thumb into my mashed potatoes, and served it to me anyway. I don't know how this place has good ratings. The staff need proper serving training. I have a photo of the goop for reference.

The manager and staff were incredibly generous and helpful, and they let us hold a special event here, our proposal. They did an amazing job with the setup, too. The location is wonderful. I highly recommend both the hotel and restaurant. 10/10.

The location is excellent, and breakfast is very good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. Ms Hava at reception especially stood out. She’s always ready to go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.
