The apartment was clean and the host seemed nice at first. She said the deposit was 200€, but because we seemed friendly and tidy, she asked us for only 100€. We chatted during the stay, and she invited us for coffee, which made it feel as if we’d made new friends. When we were leaving, she said nothing about returning the money, so I politely asked. She immediately denied ever taking a deposit and refused to give it back. I tried reminding her of our conversation and handing over the deposit, but the whole scene left me feeling like a fool and really spoiled our vacation.

The house itself was okay, but the host's attitude could ruin your vacation. We paid a 200euro deposit on top of the apartment price, with no return conditions written down or explained. Three hours before we planned to leave, we asked for the money back and were told the kitchen was dirty, with a 50euro charge. We cleaned it and eventually got the deposit back, but were then told to leave the house immediately. We had to wait outside for our bus for an hour.

The host was unkind, and the TV was broken. I also found the gas oven really dangerous and couldn’t use it to cook. There was a 100Euro deposit, and the host said it wouldn’t be returned if the kitchen was dirty, so I didn’t feel comfortable using anything. When I said I wanted to cancel, I was told I had to pay 50euro just for having stepped into the room. A terrible place to stay. It was a nightmare, and I’d never recommend this apartment.
