The apartments feel homey and look out over an incredible bay. Roberto and Mirjana are wonderful hosts, the kind of people you could wish for. The house is right in the center of the village, so the store, bar, and restaurant are all easy to get to. Lovely.

The village of Valun is very quiet, and there's a collection of apartments to suit families, couples, or groups of friends, with all the utilities you need. It's a five-minute walk to the pebble beach, which was nearly empty. Everyone can use the terrace with a barbecue, and there's also a lovely viewpoint with a table for breakfast or an evening aperitivo. Roberto was friendly and helpful. He helped us with the barbecue, gave us local grapes and tomatoes, and was always ready with suggestions for things to enjoy in Cres. We'll definitely be back!

There's a lovely little grocery store about 50 m away where you can find what you need, and the beautiful beach is around 200 m away. You can also head to the olive tree terraces at the abandoned camp to get away from it all, or use its sports facilities. The hosts are extremely welcoming and treat you like an old friend. The view over the gulf is breathtaking. I'm here for the second time and hope to return again. I'd recommend this place to friends or family, though I might keep it as a secret tip for myself. Jan

Valun is beautiful, peaceful, intimate, and genuine, with great beaches, seafood, and access to hiking and cycling. Be ready for the hills! We loved our stay. The place was comfortable, clean, and quiet, but don't expect to be pampered. There are shared areas and amenities, like laundry. Roberto and his wife are warm and friendly, though not doting. The location is fantastic.
