Hotel Bernarda

The wellness visit was my favorite part. It wasn't too crowded, so I could properly relax. The hotel is also quiet and really nice, right in the center of Varaždinske Toplice. Everything about our experience was great.

The hotel and its wonderful staff made my husband's and my wedding reception more magical and perfect than we'd imagined. The reception hall, rooms, garden, and pool are breathtaking, and the food was among the best we've had in 20+ years of extensive travel. The staff are masters of their profession. Don't be put off by the small town's remote location. This hotel will be one of your best experiences. We'll come back as often as we can! 🩷

The room was spacious, with a balcony and a huge screen, and I had a good stay apart from the insects. I got more than 10 bites in my bed, then another 10 on the second night, so that's when I was sure what was happening. I reported it to reception, but they said they couldn't do anything about it. The breakfasts and dinners were good. There's also a sauna and thermal pool, which cost 25 euros extra to use.

This review is about the new hotel with the spa. The complex has two parts, with the other being beautiful rustic rooms. The new hotel is lovely, decorated with care, and has pleasant rooms with huge, absolutely fantastic beds. The clean, well-maintained pool and spa area were a pleasure, and the sauna area is thoughtfully set up with three different types. There are also additional rooms for different practices connected to the health resort. The food is top class, and the staff are kind and welcoming. Lots of little details make the stay even nicer, and everything feels well thought out with respect for the environment.
