Apartment Tranquillo

We had a great family stay on Korčula. The place is well situated and pet friendly, with clear sea all around. It’s fully equipped, with SUPs and a kayak included. There’s good parking under a solar roof, a nice garden with places to sit, and a stunning view. It’s close to Vela luka.

Most days, we relaxed on the terrace or loungers and enjoyed the breathtaking sea view. In the evenings we watched the sun go down over Kamenjak, the island the villa is named after, as we later learned. A refreshing swim was easy, with the jetty right in front of the house. We loved the idyllic feel and stylish furnishings of the Tranquilo apartment, though we did venture out for a few days to see the Mediterranean town of Vela Luka and the surrounding area. The holiday felt magical. If you need a break from a stressful routine or simply want some lovely days on the Adriatic coast, this is a great choice.

You can step from the spacious terrace straight into the crystal-clear water and take in the view of the quiet bay. There’s a small jetty with a ladder, though water shoes are a good idea because of the sharp stones and sea urchins. The Tranquillo apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It runs on eco-friendly energy and water, so you need to spread your water use through the day. A fantastic place for a lovely holiday.

We had a restful time in the quiet, relaxed bay, and really enjoyed the holiday at Villa Tranquilo. Waking up to the sea view, being so close to the water, and the apartment’s tasteful decor were some of the best parts. For a change of scene, you can visit Korcula or the island of Proisd. We’ll be back!
