Hotel Phoenix

I only stopped in to pick up takeout, but the food was amazing. They have daily menus.

We held our wedding at Hotel Pheonix Velika Gorica, and Tomislav was a huge help through the planning. His organization, clear communication, and attention to detail kept everything running smoothly. The service was friendly and professional, and our guests had nothing but good things to say. The venue was comfortable and elegantly decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and festive. The rooms were comfortable and well kept, which made things much easier for our guests coming from out of town. There was more than enough amazing food for everyone. The lamb was so good that someone actually stole one of the two lambs, can you imagine?! Tomislav handled it right away and adjusted the menu so none of the guests even noticed anything was missing. From start to finish, the whole wedding was exceptional. We'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for delicious food, good accommodations, and great service.

The one drawback was the smoking room smell, which often drifted into the otherwise clean areas. Still, the staff were very polite and helpful, and I'd highly recommend the hotel. It's 8-10 minutes from the highway hub next to Zagreb, and a clean, reasonably priced place to stay while you're committing.

I picked this hotel just for its closeness to the airport and stayed one night. The room was tidy and clean, and the staff were polite. The restaurant shut at 7 PM, so there was no dinner. Luckily, there was a nearby Mc Donald's. The air conditioner made odd noises every 30 to 40 minutes, so I couldn't sleep well, and the shower wasn't great either.
