Mr. Mijo and his wife were very friendly, and the whole atmosphere felt welcoming. There's a barbecue area with shelter and a table, plus a well-stocked market close by. The beach is a little farther away, but we had a car and spent each day exploring, so that wasn't a problem. There are lots of beautiful beaches within a 4-20-minute drive, with options for different tastes. The photos are of beaches in Makarska and the surrounding area. We'd definitely return. I'd also suggest a day trip to Split for the old town, promenade, and port, then a stop in charming Omiš on the way back.

The host was polite and helpful, and we had positive experiences apart from one issue: there was no air conditioning in the room, so it felt stuffy at night. We stayed as a family in a three-room suite. The location keeps you away from evening noise and works well for families with kids, but getting to the beach takes a bit of walking, and the steep uphill climb is really only suited to athletes.

Miyo and Anna, thank you so much for all your help and hospitality. The hosts welcomed us like family and kept checking whether we needed anything, while treating us generously. We felt as if we'd visited ten times already and they knew us well. My friends and I honestly didn't expect the apartments to be this beautiful and comfortable. They look even better in person than in the photos. We'd really love to come back next year.

We were told, “Nemate kulture” (“no culture”), for using the balcony after 10 PM. We were also told parking wasn't allowed in the apartment lot, and couldn't even ask whether we could park there. I wouldn't recommend this place.
