Lux Apartments

We had a fabulous stay, with wonderful hospitality and accommodation.

We had a fantastic time.

The pool was a nice bonus, and the place was spotless and finished to a high standard. The location was superb, with sea views.

We chose this steep hillside location to get away from the tourist crowds. Getting around was manageable with rented e-MTBs, or by car, and there are two restaurants within walking distance at the top of the village. One thing to check before booking: I wonder whether the neighbors plan to build another floor below or next door. Apartment number 1 was neat and had a big terrace with a table, two lounge chairs, and a parasol. There’s no outdoor light, though an extension cord and the bedside lamp gave us enough light to sit outside. The roller shutters kept the apartment cool, and all the windows and doors had mosquito screens. Inside, there’s a four-burner electric stove, an oven, a coffee maker, and a kettle. We had to watch out for food scraps, since ants soon swarmed if any were spilled. A little soapy water sorted that out. The bed felt a bit saggy to me, so I put two pillows between the slatted base and the mattress. I told the very friendly and helpful owner, who promptly brought an extra mattress topper, though we didn’t use it. The cleaning lady came regularly, and took care of whatever we needed when we let her know. A lovely place to stay, and I’d recommend it.
