Apartment Villa Octopus

Vinko and Mara made us feel very welcome and always had good suggestions for restaurants and nice excursions. The location of the apartment is fantastic, and we had a really relaxing holiday. The beach was so close, but we also loved spending time in the wonderful pool.

The beach is less than 100 meters away, and since 2020 there’s also been a pool with massage jets and a waterfall. The accommodation is absolutely top notch, with stylish new furnishings, a great layout, and even a washing machine. Five stars plus. We had a perfect holiday and this definitely won’t be our last visit. Highly recommended! Many thanks to our hosts Mara and Vinko. Stay healthy, and see you next year.

We arrived early, at 10:00 a.m., and Vinko greeted us warmly. The apartment was clean and a good size. We felt we had the best one, with a shady terrace spot for breakfast and a view of the bay. There were four of us and we had two apartments, while the third was free, so we had plenty of room around the pool and the fantastic barbecue area. Our friendly host came by regularly to tend the lovely plants, herbs, and fruit trees around the house. He always had helpful tips, and even surprised us with grilled fish and red wine. In the morning, a fisherman sells fresh fish right from his car in front of the small shop, about 80 meters away. Next time we’ll bring a can opener and a fly swatter, as we were missing both.

The pool is fantastic, and the house is very clean and comfortably furnished. It’s peaceful but centrally located, with the beach just a five-minute walk away. This was our second year staying with Vinko and Mara, and we’ve now stayed in all three apartments. They’re such warm and helpful hosts, and the house leaves nothing to be desired. We had a lovely barbecue evening with them and the other guests, organized by Vinko and Mara. It was delicious, with all the grilled specialties Croatia has to offer.
