The owner is easygoing and really helpful, which made things simple. The rooms are roomy and clean, and the showers are excellent. It’s a former school, and the split-level bedroom makes clever use of the space, though it might not suit everyone. It feels more like a B&B without the second B, since you have to go out to get breakfast.

There’s no reception, but Karla was polite and helpful, and the hotel was very quiet. It’s a calm mix of an apartment hotel and a regular hotel, right in the center of Vis, though everything in Vis town is central. The rooms are nice. With beds on the upper level, it takes a bit of figuring out to set the AC so the lower floor doesn’t freeze while you’re boiling in bed. I’d strongly recommend staying here.
