Our host made the stay especially easy, with recommendations that were genuinely useful. For our honeymoon, we were welcomed with champagne, a lovely personal touch. We had a wonderful time at Hotel San Giorgio, and would happily book it again if we return to Vis.

The owner greeted everyone with a smile and made the place feel even more special. Dinner was great, too, in a beautiful restaurant. We loved our spacious standard room and all its amenities, and breakfast had pretty much everything you could want. A charming, romantic, authentic little Croatian hotel. We’d consider coming back.

Swimming in the Adriatic with the locals was just a short walk away, and other restaurants were easy to reach on foot. We were lucky to be on Vis on a Wednesday evening, when they show Mamma Mia 2 on the big outdoor screen, since so much of it was filmed on the island. At Hotel San Giorgio, the spacious room had a very comfortable bed and lovely terrace views. Breakfast outside in the courtyard, with eggs made by the generous, lovely owner, was something special. It honestly felt like a honeymoon. What a special place. We’d highly recommend it.

One of our favorite meals on Vis. The staff were warm, kind, and flexible about our dietary needs, and everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Highly, highly recommend dinner at Hotel San Giorgio. 🙏🏽
