The room was a pleasant surprise: very spacious, with a large terrace and a beautiful view. The beds were comfortable, and I slept well. The spa was excellent, the saunas were great, and hygiene was top-notch. The jacuzzi was fantastic. The pool was heated, but still felt pretty cold for a winter visit. Since the hotel is large, the floor stickers for finding your way around were useful. There’s also a children’s playroom and video games. Breakfast was solid, with a classic selection, though nothing more. The young man at reception and the other staff were extremely friendly. One receptionist’s attitude bothered me, though: she didn’t even make eye contact or say hello when I passed. I travel a lot, and hotels usually let guests use the pool and spa after checkout. Here we couldn’t, because a congress was scheduled for the next day. I feel there should be some solution, or at least a small gesture of goodwill, when a hotel cares about its guests. As a family, we felt like we stopped mattering as soon as we checked out. It’s a shame that final impression soured the stay.

Angela at reception was professional and helpful, and arranged a cake for my husband’s 50th birthday. The indoor pool was a godsend in the cold weather, and the sauna and massage area was beautiful and very relaxing. We visited off season, when many places were closed, but there were places to eat and drink a 10-minute walk away. The restaurant owners were welcoming and kind. The streets were very clean and seemed safe even after dark. I’d definitely recommend going, perhaps in summer when more is open.

The rooftop pool and bar have a great view, though the bar only serves cocktails, no beer. The beach is just a couple of minutes away, with food spots and stalls nearby, and there are more restaurants about a 10-minute walk away. We stayed in the new, boat-shaped hotel. It's modern and clean, and breakfast has plenty of choice, though it can get busy because the hotel is large.

The rooftop pool was a lovely place to unwind, and the bar up there looks out over the sea and islands. Our balcony had a breathtaking view too. The room was modern, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff were kind and always happy to help. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Olympia Sky.
