We really felt at home here, and I’d happily recommend it. The host was warm and helpful, and the apartment was cleaner and tidier than anywhere we’ve stayed over the years, from hotels to bungalows and other apartments. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, up and over the hill from the old part of town. The shady stone lanes make the walk pleasant. Inside, it has all the things you’d want at home: a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and microwave. There’s also a general water filter for the taps, plus all the dishes, utensils, cloths and towels.
