The rooms were fantastic, and the host was great. I would've given five stars if there'd been a pool table for rainy days. We also had lovely neighbours next door and upstairs. Thanks for the little gift, Gino and Toni. Those tea bags were a godsend.

The apartment looked nice and the pool was convenient, and the location worked well. But we rented two apartments, and one room smelled like Chinese food. One of us slept on the living room sofa bed, and the smell got into his clothes. In both apartments, the bedding felt as if it hadn't been washed since the last guests used it, and the towels weren't very clean either. The host was very slow to respond, and I'm still waiting for an answer to my complaint about the rooms. I also can't leave a review through the other website because they cancelled my booking right after taking cash. I really can't recommend this place.

The location by the sea was really nice, with a beach and swimming area inside the buoys very close by. There are lots of local amenities, and good value for money. The apartments are spacious, clean, and well equipped, with either balconies or patios by the pool. The pool, jacuzzi, and loungers are very well cared for. You can take the Boatmen across the harbour for a short walk to the Old Town, or use a bridge a little farther away.

We didn't get change for the tourist tax because they had none, and they wouldn't take a card. At checkout they charged us 80 euros for a chair by the pool that we hadn't even sat on. We wouldn't have paid, but then we wouldn't have got our passports back. We were also told we had to be in our rooms by 10pm. The welcome and service were awful. Not recommended at all.

Katarina was the jewel of our stay. She was there from arrival right through to when we left, recommended restaurants, and explained how to get around. She also told us about the gondola across to the old town, where the wedding was, just about a 10-minute walk from the apartment. I'm not sure how she manages the apartments on her own, but she does a wonderful job. We stayed for a week in a two-bedroom apartment with three guests for a wedding. It was fantastic, spotless, and had modern conveniences, including air conditioning in every room. The pool and jacuzzi were very clean, and there was a little bar area for smoking with ice available. I'd highly recommend the apartment, and the boat trip on ferry Lara to Preko too.
