A really nice holiday home. I can't think of anything bad to say about it.

Leonard looked after us wonderfully, and the villa has everything well equipped. It sits on a hillside on the outskirts of Zadar, with lovely views over the city and sea. Since the old town is under a 10-minute drive away, a car is recommended. The barbecue area was another highlight, and the surroundings are very quiet.

We were traveling around Croatia for three weeks, and our adult children joined us here for one of them. Having two separate apartments meant we each had our own space while still staying together, which worked perfectly. The apartments had everything we needed for a holiday. We especially liked the roomy shower and bedroom in the downstairs unit. Much of the place is handmade with real skill and lovely taste. We didn't get to say goodbye to the owner in person, which was a shame, but we'll remember this beautiful place.

We've been coming to Croatia as a family for 10 years, and this place has suited us best. We spent three weeks here, with two independent apartments and all the home basics, including a washer, iron, dishwasher, and hairdryer. There are four bikes available, one smaller bike for a child aged 7-15, and the nearest beach is about 1.5 km away, so you'll need to drive or cycle there. On hot days, the outdoor shower is great. The neighborhood is quiet, though a rooster crows in the morning. It was so quiet it didn't bother us. The old town is 3.5 km away. Driving right into the center isn't a great idea because parking is difficult. We parked in the paid lot by Kolovare beach and walked about five minutes to Zadar's main gate. Honestly recommend it.

The owner was very accommodating, and the house and grounds are beautifully kept. It's a peaceful area with everything you need nearby. The old town is a 10-15 minute drive, and parking costs €0.30 per hour. For quieter beaches, you'll need to drive a bit, but Sandy Beach and Red Stone are manageable at around 30 minutes away. They were truly calm, with around 10 people along 100-200 meters of beach. I'd happily stay again.
