We were on a road trip and just needed somewhere to sleep, but the clean room and lovely service made this a great stay. The hotel has recently changed hands to a small family, and their kindness made it even nicer.

Breakfast was generous and tasty, and it’s served in the hotel’s own BBQ restaurant. I imagine the BBQ is great too, though I couldn’t bring myself to eat BBQ in 40C heat. The staff were so welcoming: someone brought me to my room and explained how everything worked. WiFi was strong across the hotel, and the air conditioning handled the Croatian summer well. My room and the hallways were spotless, the bed was comfy, and there was even a proper desk, which you don’t often get in vacation hotels. It’s a well-run place with very courteous, hospitable staff.

The breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean with good service. It’s only about ten minutes by Bolt to the old town, with a few supermarkets right beside the hotel. The AC also kept up in the hot weather. Good value for the price.

Dom, who works at the front desk and restaurant, really made the stay. He’s thoughtful and engaging, and speaks great English as well as several other languages. The stay was wonderful, even better than advertised. I’ll definitely return when I’m next in Zadar.

The lamb roast and mixed grill were my favorites. The food is top notch, and I’d really recommend it to serious meat lovers visiting Zadar. The atmosphere is great too, and the staff are genuinely nice and polite.
