The rooftop pool was calm, and the views from up there were stunning. There’s no restaurant on site, but Karma downstairs brings food and drinks up to the pool. Marina was a lovely host, welcoming and helpful, and made us feel at home. Our room was spacious and clean, with a balcony facing the sea, strong air conditioning, and a comfortable bed. The fridge did have one drawback: no freezer compartment. There was a cooking hob and hood, a well-stocked kitchen with utensils, salt and sugar, and a kettle with a stand for making coffee or tea. The living room had a sofa bed that worked well for the kids, and there was a TV in both the living room and bedroom. L’Occitane toiletries and a good hairdryer were nice extras. It’s a quiet spot, around a 15-20 minute walk to the town center or a short taxi ride, and parking is available. We had a fantastic stay, 10/10.

We had a lovely surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday, which we really appreciated. The staff were friendly and very nice, and the rooftop pool was the perfect finishing touch. The restaurant below the apartments was great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This was the best accommodation we’ve had in Croatia. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a great big bed and a lovely bathroom. It’s about a 15-minute scenic walk to the city center. If I’m back in Zadar, I’ll happily stay here again. Thanks!

We’ve just finished a seven-night stay, and loved every minute, 10/10. The rooftop pool is lovely and quiet, with superb views and a great place to relax or watch the boats. There’s no bar or restaurant on site, but Karma downstairs brings food and drinks up to the pool. We used it quite a bit, ate there a few times, and always enjoyed the good selection, quality, and friendly service. Our room had a balcony with a sea view. It was spacious, nicely decorated, and clean, with a pleasant balcony, great air conditioning, and a mini fridge. Beach towels were provided, and my wife was especially pleased with the L’Occitane shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. There was also a decent hairdryer, apparently. The one thing I missed was an ice machine. Like many guests, we brought our own drinks to the pool, but without a freezer in the room there was no way to make ice. Otherwise, it’s a lovely place in a lovely spot, about a flat 20-minute walk to the old town. We booked directly and got a much better deal than through an app.

Having parking behind the building was a huge bonus in an area where spaces are hard to find. There’s a small local beach right across the way, and the old city is about a mile’s walk.

The rooftop pool and the spot across from the beach are hard to beat. La Vista is beautifully designed and very comfortable, with a lovely coastal walk into the city center from a perfect distance away. I can’t think of any negatives. If you’re staying in Zadar, I highly recommend booking here :)
