Lavender Suite Zadar

The view was incredible.

The sofa didn’t work well as a fifth bed. Nobody slept properly on it, so we took turns using it to spare anyone a full week of bad nights. It’d also help to include dishwasher tablets with the basics. Each group otherwise buys a pack and uses only two or three, and there may not be room to bring the rest on the plane. This is a simple, clean place if you aren’t looking for luxury. There were a few minor problems, including a broken roller shutter and a bathtub that leaked a little. It has jets, but we didn’t try them because of the leak. The description could be clearer so it doesn’t raise expectations too much. Aside from those issues, everything was great.

Petra is a very nice young owner, and shops are close by. The beach is right across the road, while the old town is about a 10-minute walk. The modern apartment is clean and fully equipped, with comfortable beds and air conditioning. There’s also an elevator and private parking.

The room was great, and the beach was beautiful. Best place I’ve ever stayed!
