Sara Residence

It was spotless and in a perfect location, with great amenities and wonderful service. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

The host greeted us on arrival, was very polite, and explained the quickest ways to get to the beach and old Town. She also shared some great restaurant recommendations. The location is superb, about 10 minutes by cycle to old town and 10 minutes to the beach. Parking is right outside, and being on the ground floor made access easy. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It also has two guest bicycles in very good condition, which made getting to old town much easier. The bathroom could be improved, though. It's tiny and difficult to fit in.

The place was very clean and pretty, and the owner was helpful and obliging. We could also use two bicycles without paying extra. Everything else was lovely, and from there you can quickly and easily reach tourist attractions, restaurants, or the island by bike or on foot. I'd recommend it. The main downside for us was noise from traffic and neighbours through the thin walls. It was a bit annoying because we had to spend more time indoors during the day. My wife and I had planned four days in Zadar for our wedding anniversary, but I'd broken my ankle two months earlier and needed crutches, so we had to travel by car. The road past the accommodation is one way, and it seems every other road is too, so you have to plan shopping or going to get something to eat. There's a very delicious restaurant 500m down the road, but because of the one-way route, the trip back to Sara Residence is almost 3km.

Anita was a great host and gave us plenty of useful city tips that made a difference. The apartment was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.
