The area is really quiet, and there are lots of places to eat or grab a snack on the way to the beach or city. Nearby, a bus stop on lines 5 and 8 gets you to the centre in under 10 minutes, while the beach is about a 15-minute walk. The owners are friendly and helpful, and did little things to make our stay easier, like setting up a bed for the baby and lending us beach mats. They speak German fluently, so it helps if you speak some German too. The apartments are cute and practical, with a sea view. I’d highly recommend them!

Ljiljana made everything easy, even though our flight was delayed by two hours. She waited for us until 22:30 and arranged a taxi since there were no airport buses at that time. It cost 200 kuna, around €26. She also gave us advice and leaflets about Zadar, nearby beaches, towns, and national parks, including how to get there and book tickets. We got information on local buses, a timetable, taxis, and Uber. The old town is roughly a 30-minute walk or an 8-minute taxi ride for about €7. Getting off at Mala Posta and walking over the big bridge was faster than sitting in traffic. Breakfast was lovely and changed a little each day. There were pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, water, meats, cheeses, eggs, breads, and jam, all for €10 a day, which was a bargain. Ljiljana asked us what time we wanted breakfast each day. When we had an early boat trip at 07.15, she packed it up for us in a lunch bag. Another day I felt unwell and skipped breakfast, so she messaged me and brought crackers, bread, fruit, and tea. So thoughtful. The apartment had plenty of room, a comfortable bed, a big wardrobe, and two balconies. The kitchen area was very good and had everything we needed, including a large fridge-freezer and microwave. The bathroom was great too, with a hair dryer. Towels were provided for showering and washing. There was a table for four, a sofa that converts into a bed, and lots of cushions. Outside on the balcony were a table, chairs, and an airer for clothes and towels. Wi-Fi was fast. There were outdoor seating and cooking areas, plus a large parking area at the back, reached by steps and a gate. The pool looked beautiful, but we didn’t have time to use it. We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely come back. Thank you, Ljiljana, you do a wonderful job ❤️

The breakfast is included and the lady puts together a generous spread, much more than a basic continental breakfast. The couple who run the place are very friendly and can point you toward places for dinner and other spots to see. The small flats are clean and practical. There’s a shaded table in the garden for everyone to use, and a pool table is there in the evening. You’ll need a car to get to town, while the beach is about a 15-minute walk away.

Villa Maslina is very clean and has great hosts, with plenty to do there. There’s also a nice beach close by. If you don’t have a car, though, you’ll probably want to use Bolt or Uber for trips to the old town.

Our apartment was clean and had a nice balcony view of the sea in the distance. It was reached by a narrow, steep staircase. The place is nice and clean, quite close to the beach, and a great breakfast is available as an option. Zadar old town is too far to walk to.
