The lower basement room gets no sunlight, and its only bedroom window faces the apartment car park. It also has a slightly damp, musty smell all the time. I’d say it works well for three days or less. On the plus side, it’s very clean and close to the main sights, with good in-room facilities and plenty of towels. The air conditioning is great and needed in the room, and the host was proactive about check-in.

The bedroom is spacious, the living room is big, and the shower has strong water pressure. The kitchen is fine and has almost everything you need. Some appliances could use attention, and there’s no parking nearby, though you can find free parking about a 10-minute walk away. Otherwise, all good for the price.

We felt at home here, and the host was so kind. It’s a nice, cozy place. The closet could use more room for clothes, and the hairdryer needs improving because it took ages to dry my hair.

It’s right in town, but be careful. If you complain, the owner may claim you damaged the apartment. The customer service was poor, and I’d avoid staying here if you don’t want to feel ripped off.

The ground-floor apartment stays pleasantly cool without air conditioning, and it’s close to all the main sights in Zadar. It was clean, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. There are lots of pubs and bars nearby at different price points, with quite a few affordable ones because of the University of Zadar. Great value for money, we’d recommend it :)
