Filip, the bartender, came over with drink suggestions for all of us to try. Earlier, Nika had taken the time to answer our questions about Zagreb and recommend local food and drinks. We’ve only got three nights here, but after meeting her and spending time with her, we wish we’d booked a whole week. It’s just our first night, and we’re already so impressed. We’re very, very happy with our hotel choice!

The coffee area has a peaceful, springlike feel, with pale green and white, while the dining room’s classic clock gives it a timeless, almost cinematic charm. Laura welcomed me warmly and showed me around Amadria Park Hotel Capital, explaining its past as a 1920s bank, from the preserved vault to the mahogany details. I loved the original mahogany-clad columns and the building’s elegant architecture. Compared with places like the Esplanade, this hotel feels more intimate and full of character. Its history is preserved and presented with care, and the staff and atmosphere made the whole place feel thoughtful and refined. They also have membership options. I’ll definitely come back :)

The building is gorgeous, and its history comes through everywhere. If you’re after a hotel with the feel of this era, the atmosphere is just right. Such a cool experience. 10/10, I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Zagreb, and might add a day to enjoy the hotel a bit longer.

We had a car and the staff parked it for us without any trouble. The room was lovely, and the hotel decor deserves a mention too. It was our first visit, and the location worked perfectly for our two-night stay. 10/10 recommend.
