Bumblebee Luxury Apartments

The location was ideal, right by the main walking streets, cafes, bars, and restaurants. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with and flexible about check-in and check-out times. It was very affordable and excellent value. The room was spacious, with gorgeous decor and furniture, and the entrance hallway is beautifully designed. The photos don’t quite capture it. The beds were heavenly, with blackout curtains for long, peaceful nights. During the day there was lots of sunlight and natural light. There’s a small kitchenette with a stovetop and all the basics for cooking, plus a great coffee machine and plenty of pods. The bathroom was well designed, with a large shower.

The apartment felt luxurious, with a small kitchenette and a good bed, and the location was great. I stayed for 1.5 weeks and slept well, but construction in and around the property kept waking me before 7 every single day. Without that, I would have rated it much higher.

We really enjoyed our stay in these luxurious apartments in the heart of Zagreb. They were beautifully decorated and very clean, and communication with the hosts was great.

The location was what we needed most, and Bumblebee Apartments made it easy to reach the busy city centre in about two minutes on foot. Most attractions were within a 25-minute walk. The apartment itself was furnished to a remarkably high standard, with quality throughout that seemed far beyond what the daily price would suggest. In the days before our stay, the host kept in touch and sent clear details for getting in with the lockbox keys, including helpful photos. My wife and I stayed from 18-20 Sept 2025. We plan to return to Zagreb in a few years, once the earthquake renovations are finished, and we'd book Bumblebee Apartments again and recommend it to friends.
