The hostess, Marianne, was welcoming, attentive, and very helpful, and she speaks English. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with useful basics like a mini-fridge, air conditioning, a TV, plus access to a hairdryer and microwave. It’s a cozy guest house at a budget-friendly price. There’s a bakery, a small shop, and Supernova Mall nearby, with shopping and currency exchange available there. The temple and US Embassy are also close. Getting to the city center takes about 15-20 minutes by taxi or bus. My best recommendation.

The American embassy is only about a 10-minute walk away, so this is a handy option if that’s where you’re headed. Buses make the city center easy to reach too, around 15-20 minutes and 6 kunas. The hosts were very friendly and the price was really affordable. There’s no breakfast, but a nice, cheap bakery is five minutes away, along with a mini market for last-minute groceries. A great place for an overnight stay.
