Meeting people was easy and fun thanks to the atmosphere. It’s a relaxed, friendly hostel right in the city center.

The room was nicely located in town and was pleasant, and the host Inez was very friendly. Still, we had to wait 30 minutes outside to get in, even though it was during reception hours and Inez wasn’t there. The main toilet didn’t work, and the shower was cold. In the morning, construction workers fixing the building woke us up. The kitchen wasn’t well equipped either, and half the gas cooker burners were broken.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the stay was uncomfortable. In summer there was no air-conditioning or fan, so it got unbearably hot. The bed was a lumpy sofa bed, with uncomfortable gaps between the cushions, and the shared-room floor was always wet.

Building work started at 8am when I visited last year, and dust from it came through and wasn’t cleaned up. The place was unclean, and the kitchen wasn’t properly equipped, for example, there were no oven trays. I wouldn’t go back.
