A pleasant place for coffee or a bite to eat, though right now they’re only serving fast food because of Covid. It has a rustic feel and affordable prices. Service was nice but a little slow, and the toilets were clean. I didn’t stay at the hotel, so can’t speak to that service. It’s across from one of Zagreb’s main hospitals, which could suit students or patients’ relatives. The old city is within walking distance, and public transport is easy to access.

The room was clean and the price was reasonable. The reception desk, though, was usually empty. After 8 pm it seemed there was no one to help, possibly because the owner also runs the restaurant downstairs, which closes at 8.
