Three rooms share just one bathroom, with the shower and toilet together, so at least 6 people are using the same facilities. One morning I had to wait for the toilet while someone took a very long shower. The bathroom had various hairs in it, and both the shower head and shower-cabin door were broken. The upstairs rooms were noisy, so I wouldn't recommend this place for children or light sleepers. The hall between the rooms smelled of sewage. We never saw the kitchen, which I believe is in the suite, though the listing presents photos of that suite. What we actually got was a very small room with no kitchen, and there were electrical wires hanging loose from the walls. There were only sheets, no blankets, so I was cold at night while my husband slept in a pullover. The sheets were torn, though they looked clean. The window in our room had no view, unlike the advertised view from the terraced suite. I chose this accommodation because a wonderful flat I booked downtown Zagreb the previous year had no parking, and parking was difficult. This place claimed to have parking, but when I arrived I called the owner from the car and got no answer. He texted asking me to text him; when I asked about parking, he said there were no parking spots and that street parking was free. That would have meant blocking the pavement and hoping the City of Zagreb Council tow trucks didn't take my car. Neighbours warned me not to leave it on the street with a foreign licence plate, so I drove to the nearest actual car park, about 950m uphill. This was a VERY unpleasant stay, and I was deeply disappointed. I advise against staying here at all cost. The booking.com reviews are very misleading.

I'm writing this to warn people not to spend their money booking this place. At first glance it seems okay, but look closer and it's dirty and run-down. There was food left on the kitchen equipment from previous guests, holes in the bedding, mold in the bathroom, and dust everywhere. The hosts were extremely rude, too. I would give 0 stars if I could.

We had a nice stay in this very pleasant studio. It's clean and spacious, with a parking spot included, and sits on a fairly quiet street. The kitchen is well fitted for cooking your own meals.

The booking ad promised “free private parking,” but we actually had to park in the street, blocking the whole sidewalk and half the driving lane. The owner was very rude as well.
