Times Inn Rooms and Apartments

The room had a serious safety problem with the wiring. We checked the reading lamp and found the two lamps connected by a white cable scraped in the middle, with a black cable stuck onto its dangerous metal part with adhesive. We tested what we saw by plugging it into a broken outlet, and within five seconds smelled burning wire. We reported this to booking. Please don't go to this horrible place. The bathroom was dirty and musty, and nobody came to clean during our four days. We couldn't find anyone to ask for toilet paper. The kitchen was very poorly equipped: no kettle, coffee machine, microwave, hot water for washing dishes or dish towel. The reading lamps didn't work either. There was also a lot of misinformation about payment. Our reservation said we'd pay 181E at the property. Since we could only pay by card, the owner first said the law didn't allow card payments at that time of day. Later, other Croatians told us that wasn't true. The next day I finally found the receptionist, who said there'd be a 5% card charge, about 10 euros for nothing. When I asked her to show me that on their page or booking, she couldn't. She called her boss and they spoke in Croatian, then told me we wouldn't have to pay the extra charge. She showed me the amount in kuna, which I checked, and it came to 194 euros. I insisted she call her boss again. He was very unkind and aggressive, and said booking didn't allow them to list this information. That was another lie. I said I'd pay but complain to booking, and he said he didn't care. I did complain. When I asked for a receipt, the receptionist said she could only send it by email. Three days later, we were still waiting.

It’s easy to get to the hotel, near the heart of the city.

A great place at an excellent price. I recommend it.
