Apartments Jadran

We stayed in AP Gagy 1, the duplex on the first floor in the Jadran apartment building. There was loads of room: a big entrance hall, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with a corner sofa bed, and balconies upstairs and down. The downstairs bedroom was across from the stairs, with a bathroom nearby that had a shower, toilet, sink, and hairdryer. Upstairs, the second bathroom was lovely and had a washing machine. That bedroom also opened onto a balcony that was a little larger than the lower one. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, a kettle, coffee maker, oven, dishwasher, and a large fridge with freezer. There was a dining table for six, and we could use the socket on the lower balcony to run our own grill. The nearest beach was only 3-4 minutes away, but it's quite rocky, so getting into the water takes care. There's a bit of a walkway in the water, then you can get around the big rocks and find a patch of sandy bottom. My husband and I snorkeled there. Two restaurants and a bakery are nearby, and there are four restaurants in the immediate area. From the balcony you can see another, sandy beach, about a 7-minute walk away. It was great, with a bouncy castle, pedal boats for rent, and more. There's also a great swimming pool at KATORO, near the apartment houses. Head left along the main road until the forest ends, then it's an easy 10-minute walk. The kids can enjoy it there. We came for the sea, of course, but we always visit a pool at least twice.

We had a lovely time and enjoyed the area's only sandy beach. The apartments were clean and affordable, close to the beach, and in a quiet neighbourhood. They're near the street, but traffic wasn't too busy.

Beautiful place, really clean.

A complete letdown. Just terrible.
