This is a beautiful villa on a secluded beach, but getting there and back takes an SUV because of the 3 km dirt road. The main villa has two rooms, with two more suites they call apartments. The fifth room, with bunk beds, is tucked behind the laundry area and has no windows or view. There’s a rented house next door; its guests can use the beach but not the pool. Cleanliness was only superficial, and some sheets and pillowcases had yellow stains. We did break a few small things, including the pool cleaning rod and net, but were charged for damage to items we hadn’t damaged, which completely ruined the experience.

It’s a lovely little swimming cove that you’ll almost have to yourself. The access is a bit difficult, but that only adds to the authentic seaside escape.

The villa is in a truly beautiful, nearly secluded spot, though there’s another rental house next door, so you won’t be entirely alone. Getting there means a roughly 15-minute drive along a 3 km macadam road. A lot has gone into the decor, but the place is very poorly maintained. Cleanliness is well below standard: towels were left thrown in the bathroom, and the additional apartments beside the main house had an unpleasant smell. The main kitchen is well equipped, and the pool is beautiful and clean.
