Having two houses rented together worked really well for our group. There’s a pool and a fully fenced garden, so we could bring friends and our dog and still have some privacy. The weather was perfect, and we had a wonderful stay at Villa Darko. It’s fairly central in Istria, with Pula, Rovinj, Labin and other places about 20-40 minutes away. The nearest small town is a five-minute drive, with a supermarket and restaurants. Fresh fish is sold outside the supermarket on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:30 am. If you’re after a quiet break away from the tourist crowds, this is a great fit. Darko takes really good care of everything, and we’d love to come back. 🥰

The surroundings are peaceful, and we were completely happy with the house. The kitchen has everything you need. Shame we only had a week, we’ll definitely stay longer next time. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely holiday in one or both of these great houses. The property is very well kept, and both houses are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The landlord was courteous and helpful, and speaks German. We went in July 2020. Croatia felt very welcoming, and we didn’t notice mass tourism due to coronavirus. Beaches, bars, restaurants and old towns in places like Medulin, Fazana and Ruvinj were all 20-30 minutes away by car. We’d highly recommend Villa Darko.
