Palm Inn Hotel

The food is consistently excellent, generous, and reasonably priced, with enough variety and American-style choices for everyone. Vegetarian options are the one limitation. I’ve stayed at other hotels, but none compare, and I’d encourage anyone to stay at The Palms Inn Hotel. The staff go out of their way for guests, and I feel like family when I’m there. Rooms are large and clean, with lots of extras. There are comfortable outdoor spots to sit and catch the breeze, and the pool is a welcome break after work.

I didn’t use the pool, but it was cleaned every day. The service was good in general, and the cooks did a good job. I had no stomach problems. The breakfast suited me, and my room was clean, quiet, and had hot water throughout my five vacation days.

William, the owner, is very friendly and makes sure you have what you need. The domesticated cats, about four of them, wandered around without bothering anyone. It sounds odd, but they gave the resort a unique character. I’m allergic to most cats and had no problems. Inside the Palm Inn, everything was great. The rooms were very clean and had a refrigerator and a thermos for ice water. Showers had hot water and the plumbing worked well. The pool was clean and a nice temperature, and security was there 24 hours. The food was very good. I had BBQ Chicken for $12, a $3 Prestige, and a $5 Rhum Punch. The road outside the facility was unusually rough. The electricity also went out twice for about three minutes, once at night and once in the morning, probably because of the government rather than the resort.

The hot water wasn’t hot at all, not even warm. Aside from that, it’s a great option near the airport. The staff were super hospitable, the rooms clean, and the food quite good.
