I wish the road up here were paved, because the place has a lot of potential. The Caribbean view is fantastic, the rooms feel bright and comfortable, and the service is good.

We had an amazing view and easy access to downtown Jacmel. The rooms were clean, and the fresh Haitian food was authentic. Everyone on staff was really friendly. Local or visiting from abroad, I think you'll enjoy staying here. I'd come back.

The setting is quiet and peaceful, with a nice ocean view, good food and drinks, and friendly staff. But the price doesn't match what you get. The room felt outdated, the TV picture was blurry, and power was shut off for hours during the day on a schedule. The shower was small, with no shampoo or soap provided, and the road to the hotel is dirt. I wouldn't recommend it for that price and level of service.

The staff were very kind and courteous, which is why I'm giving it four stars. I came back after seven years and could see the place getting old. The overall upkeep seems lacking, with rust on the door handles and toilets that weren't very clean.

The pool was kept up well, the staff were great, and the food was top-notch. I especially loved the fish and pickliz. If you know Haiti, you'll appreciate this modern hotel and its amenities, plus that breathtaking ocean view.
