The view over Port-au-Prince Bay and the cul de sac plain is breathtaking, and Hotel lebon has a peaceful feel that seems well suited to family trips. I was struck by how much care went into the decoration: woodwork covers the walls, stairs, and bar, alongside clay vases and countless paintings by famous Haitian painters, including FRANKETIENNE. There are many apartments, too.

It's a beautiful hotel with a friendly atmosphere. Breakfast is the only meal served, and the food choice and quality could be better.

They have a VIP space, which is nice, but they play the music too loud.

A nice place, though there's no parking or hot water.
