The beach and outdoor bar and dining area were the highlights, and I’d definitely come back when I’m nearby. The staff were very accommodating, and the AC worked well. The room was sparsely furnished and didn’t have a TV. Still, the atmosphere was great, especially for Haiti.

After several days working with our medical team in Cite Soleil, we needed a place to recover. Wahoo Club turned us away despite our reservations, and I can only guess that we didn’t look wealthy or clean enough to them. Marie Florence welcomed us right away and rented us two lovely rooms. The amenities were just right, and spending time at Ouanga Bay Beach hotel was an absolute blessing. I’m very grateful.

At check-in, the front desk couldn’t say whether fish or lobster would be on the menu. When we tried to order, staff had said both would be available, but there was only fish. The bathroom also had an indescribable odor. They promised more than they delivered.

The food is fantastic, and Ouanga bay hotel feels like a little piece of heaven in Haiti. Such a peaceful, relaxing place. I love it.
