We bought a day pass for this all-inclusive and had a great time. The food was amazing and the drinks were strong. The beach here is rocky, so I’d bring water shoes. We also saw a beautiful-looking wedding taking place in the late afternoon.

There’s plenty to keep you busy, from swimming in the pools or ocean to volleyball and sunbathing. Local vendors can take you snorkeling at the island for a pretty low price. The beach is incredible, with calm, blue water that felt safe, and the food was delicious. The staff were attentive and super helpful. Lovely resort, and I’d highly recommend it.

I had a good visit, and my Haitian friend made it especially enjoyable. I’d have been lost without him, since the food wasn’t labeled well and I couldn’t tell what I was trying. I’ve seen complaints about the food and can agree with those. The views and sunsets are beautiful, and it’s an extremely peaceful place. The bed wasn’t great for my back, though renovations were underway, so that could change. Every Haitian I met was friendly and seemed interested in talking with me, or trying to.

For the price, this was definitely not worth the stay. I’ve been to many resorts in Haiti, and this place has a lot of work ahead before it’s ready to operate as an all-inclusive. Dinner was supposed to run from 7 to 10 pm, but they closed well before 10 and turned the lights off on my husband and me when we asked if they could at least make us a plate. The food was sparse, limited, cold, and bad. I’ve read reviews praising it, but that’s totally false based on my experience. Some guests even paid to eat at neighboring resorts. The room had been nicely updated, but there was no phone to call the front desk, and the resort was still under construction. Manager Dennis A. and Ms V. were very pleasant. The rest of the staff need a lot of customer service training. If food and customer service don’t matter to you, then by all means give it a try.

The only drawback for me was the rocky beach, though I got used to it after a while, and it wasn’t the hotel’s fault. The water is warm and calm, and I’d definitely recommend spending a day here. The food was delicious, the juices are all natural, and there’s beach volleyball as well as jet skis for rent.
