Why can someone review a place they have never even stayed at? It’s upsetting to think people might post bad reviews just to hurt others, as if they have nothing better to do.

The garden is pleasant, tidy, and well cared for, and the downstairs bathroom has been renovated. But the kitchen still has furniture from the 1960s, the upstairs wallpaper is peeling, and some lamp bulbs are missing. There’s no internet at the moment for some reason. Heating is only in the rooms, so the kitchen and toilet get freezing, unless you want to spend a lot on heat. The place was still good back in the 1980s. Water also runs out of the shower.

A comfortable house with air conditioning and everything we needed. The owner was kind and helpful.

The musty smell was so bad we had to stay outside. It got into our clothes, our skin, and all our belongings, and we couldn’t sleep. There were cobwebs everywhere to sweep and vacuum, stale dust throughout, and old felt rugs in the kitchen and upstairs that smelled terribly musty. The curtains and bedding looked as though they hadn’t been washed in years. Simply horrible, avoid it if you can.

The house was clean and neat, and the owner was fair. Great!
